Professional Development Committee (PDC)
Chair: Mary Schmidt
It has always been the goal of CCRID's Professional Development Committee to bring cutting edge workshops to Central California. We strive to find the most current as well as tried and true topics and presenters that will enhance every interpreter's knowledge, skills, and ethics so they can in turn serve to the best of their ability. We welcome workshop topic ideas and encourage participation at educational events as well as mentoring sessions.
Membership Committee
Chair: Kathy Yoshida
The Membership Committee maintains the member database, facilitates workshop registration and handles CEU requests.
Publication Committee
Chair: Shannon Simonelli
The Publications Committee is responsible for producing and editing the newsletter,
The Sign Post, which is published quarterly. Each newsletter contains feature articles,
a calendar of events, announcements from the interpreting community (such as births and
certifications), and various other items of interest. Submission or article suggestions
are always welcome and can be sent to the Publications Chair Shannon Simonelli at
ccrid@ccrid.org.
Fundraising Committee
Chair: Nicole Wolfe
The Fundraising Committee is in charge of raising funds for CCRID. This
includes gathering donations of monetary and material value that are
utilized within silent auctions/raffles.
We gladly accept any and all donations you may be
interested in sharing. If you wish to contribute to CCRID and aid in
our continued efforts to bring great events to our members and the

Hospitality Committee
Chair: Shelly Cooper
The Hospitality Committee plans and prepares the food for the workshops. The Committee is also responsible for mailing thank you notes, congratulations, condolences and other well wishes to CCRID members.
Website Committee
Chair: Christy West
The Website Committee Chair is responsible for updating and modifying the website so as to contain accurate and current information. If you have suggestions regarding the website, please contact us at ccrid@ccrid.org.
Outreach Committee
Chair: vacant
The Outreach Committee assists with the recruiting of new members in areas outside Fresno County, but within the designated CCRID region and to act as a liaison between CCRID members in said designated region and the Executive Board.
