Meet the CCRID Board

CCRID's leadership team meets on the first Sunday of each month. The meeting is open to all CCRID members. CCRID follows Robert's Rules of Order during our monthly meetings. The meeting is called to order, the agenda is approved, minutes from the previous month's meeting are approved, we go through the agenda, and adjourn. Any business that needs to be voted on must be approved by a quorum vote.

CCRID President

President
Suzanne Conway, MA, NAD V, RID CI & CT, SC:L

Hi, I'm Suzanne. I am excited to be serving as the President for CCRID.

I first got involved with CCRID in 1994 when I moved back to Fresno. I have previously served as President, Vice President and Treasurer of CCIRD.

In addition to my CCRID duties, I am married to Tim and the proud mother of three amazing (and busy!) children.

I feel it is important to be involved and have a say in our professional organization, and it has been, and continues to be, wonderful to see CCRID grow and overcome new challenges. I hope to be a part of CCRID for many more years!

CCRID Vice President

Vice President
Pam Warkentin, CSC, SC:L, NAD V

Hi. My name is Pam Warkentin and I am currently serving CCRID in my second term as Vice-President for the 2009-2011 term. Previous to this term, I served as President from 2003-2007. It was extremely rewarding and I was honored to be part of a team which re-energized and re-vitalized CCRID. Serving CCRID is a privilege and through much work and effort from many committed individuals, we have grown!

Although I have been interpreting for 34 years, I still learn daily in my work and have a passion for both the work and the community we serve. It is my desire to see people grow both individually and professionally. To the extent that CCRID can provide those opportunities, I am committed to being a part of that. I look forward to continued service.

Personally, I am married with three children, two of whom are married, and five wonderful grandchildren. I am blessed to have Deaf parents and family as well.

CCRID Secretary

Secretary
Renee Bisnett, EIPA:4

Hi, my name is Renee Bisnett and I am currently serving my first term as CCRID's secretary.

Prior to my term as secretary I served as membership co-chair with Kathy Yoshida. I enjoyed working the registration table because I became more familiar with our members.

I am looking forward to learning new roles and resposibilities as secretary and participating in the administration of CCRID.

I am currently working for Fresno Unified as an EIPA Assessed Educational Interpreter and am striving to become RID certified.

CCRID Treasurer

Treasurer
Nicole Wolfe, MA, NAD IV, RID CI & CT

I have been a member of CCRID for approximately eight years. Four of those eight years have been as Treasurer, two as President, and I will be returning to the position of treasurer for the 2009-2011 term. Currently I hold RID CI & CT as well as NAD IV and have been interpreting for nearly twelve years. In the last eight years, I have had the opportunity to watch CCRID grow and very much look forward to how we will continue to flourish!!!
