CCRID President

President
Suzanne Conway, MA, NAD V, RID CI & CT, SC:L email pres.

Hi, I'm Suzanne. I am excited to be serving as the President for CCRID.

I first got involved with CCRID in 1994 when I moved back to Fresno. I have previously served as President, Vice President and Treasurer of CCRID.

In addition to my CCRID duties, I am married to Tim and the proud mother of three amazing (and busy!) children.

I feel it is important to be involved and have a say in our professional organization, and it has been, and continues to be, wonderful to see CCRID grow and overcome new challenges. I hope to be a part of CCRID for many more years!

CCRID Vice President

Vice President
Renee Bisnett, RID-ED K-12 email vicepres.

Hi, my name is Renee Bisnett and I am currently serving my first term as CCRID's Vice-President.

I have previously served CCRID as Secretary and Membership Co-Chair with Kathy Yoshida. I enjoyed working the registration table because I became more familiar with our members.

I am looking forward to learning new roles and resposibilities as Vice-President and participating in the administration of CCRID.

I am currently working for Fresno Unified.

CCRID Secretary

Secretary
Pam Warkentin, CSC, SC:L, NAD V email sec.

Hi. My name is Pam Warkentin and I am currently serving CCRID in my first term as Secretary for the 2011-2013 term. Previous to this term, I served as President from 2003-2007, and 2 terms as Vice-President from 2007-2011. It was extremely rewarding and I was honored to be part of a team which re-energized and re-vitalized CCRID. Serving CCRID is a privilege and through much work and effort from many committed individuals, we have grown!

Although I have been interpreting for 38 years, I still learn daily in my work and have a passion for both the work and the community we serve. It is my desire to see people grow both individually and professionally. To the extent that CCRID can provide those opportunities, I am committed to being a part of that. I look forward to continued service.

Personally, I am married with three children, all of whom are married, and six wonderful grandchildren. I am blessed to have Deaf parents and family as well.

Treasurer
Maja Freund, RID-K-12, NIC-ADV email tres.

Hi. My name is Maja and I am serving as the new CCRID Treasurer. I am excited to be a part of an organization commited to the growth and success of local valley interpreters. I have been a member of CCRID for three years.

When not interpreting for Sorenson, the educational system, or out in the community, I am a busy mother of five; I do enjoy a good cup of coffee.

I look forward to helping advance the interpreting profession in our community and seeing us all grow!
